Academy and one to One coaching

With the success of the 1st ever KBCC academy. there will be an additional session added for the start of 2025. The 2 sessions will be aimed at different skill level of players. Session 1 will be aimed for the club player. This will develop the technical skills of the player in a setting tha​t is challenging and appropriate to the player to get the best benefit. The 2nd session will be for the higher club/pathway player. This again challenges the players in an environment to prepare them for the highest level of cricket. Whilst parents want there children to train with better players, this may be detriment to the player and the head coach will make the final decision on which session the player trains in so they can benefit the most. This will be aimed mainly for players between U10 and U13.

* If you are unable to make a session, you cannot swap a session.​

** All new starters, will be asked to attend the club sessions and may be invited to the higher club/pathway sessions if they are deemed at the appropriate level and if there is space in the group.

***If your child is new to cricket then these sessions may not be appropriate so please contact for further information to help new players in the game.

One to one and small group sessions are a great way to get more directed instruction to improve a players skill set much quicker than in a large group environment.

During the summer months (April to October) sessions are held at Addiscombe CC in Croydon. The winter months (October to March) will be held at a local venue close to Croydon subject to availability.

We work with all ages and abilities and can work on all skills that meets the players needs, whether this be batting, bowling or fielding/wicket keeping, we ensure that the players have fun, learn and build confidence within their own game. 

We recommend in these sessions of no more than 4 participants to get a better outcome for each participant in these sessions.

One to ones will now be more on an ad-hoc basis. Players can be assessed during one to ones to apply for the academy or those who are in the academy who needs to work on a small technical issue.

Academy Sessions

 

Price for 10 weeks of 90 minute sessions are £300

Maximum of 20 players will be enrolled

Sessions are every Sunday from 12th January until 23rd March

No session 23rd February for half term

Indoor Sessions (Around Croydon)

​

Price for Indoor sessions are £60 per hour. (October to March) (one to one)

Price for Indoor sessions are £65 per hour. (October to March) (two to one or more)

Outdoor Sessions (Addiscombe CC)

Price for Outdoor sessions are £40 per hour (April to October only) (one to one)

Price for Outdoor sessions are £45 per hour (April to October only) (two to one or more)
