About Me
Kevin Boudville is a cricket coach with well over 18 years experience. Based in South London, Kevin has played most of his cricket for Malden Wanderers CC. An ECB level 2 coach, Kevin is currently head coach at Addiscombe CC and First Ball Academy as well as a performance coach at Surrey CCC working with the U10s and the U15s.
Kevin has worked with a number of coaches and environments to help teams and players improve their performance but also gained experience himself to improve his coaching ability. A degree in coaching and sport psychology means he is up to date in the latest coaching methods as well as incorporating the basic psychology to help the player perform at their best by setting targets and managing expectations at different stages of the players learning journey.
All sessions will have a focus on a specific skill that will have the underlying fundamentals that the basics are correct initially. Each player is unique and whilst skills are performed in a similar way, drills are picked specifically to help improve a player. A use of a camera is often found in sessions as coaches like to look back at specific part of the session to make sure they that the individual is improving but also that the coach has not missed anything that they may miss to then naked eye.
Whilst Kevin specialises in spin bowling and batting, he can still develop players in fast bowling, wicket keeping and fielding. If you need help with any part of your game, please use the contact page to enquire in booking sessions.
